New info drops March 11.
Next update will likely drop within a month after March 11
It better be, because people are going to scrutinize that update hard, and it wouldn't be the first time a dev overestimated their opinion on "substantial" content. Right now people are like waiting, waiting to see if all the supposed "work" in the background is actually true.
But if this doesn't fit a year of content and polish, a lot of people are going to rightfully write off the game for good.
I understand the frustration, the long wait, and the lack of communication—and I agree: if the next update isn’t substantial, it will raise some eyebrows.
But as long as they deliver quality, I don’t mind waiting. I’ll just play other games in the meantime.
