Having trouble figuring out where to go in the sewers. Got the key to unlock the door, pulled the valves. Now what?

raise the water after getting the lever, then go back to the wisper and right over the bridge.

after entering the door, cross the bit where there are some grass, drop down to the trench, follow it to south-west corner, there is a stairway to a platform where there is a hard to see 2nd stairway up, follow the path north and you will have the lever.

Ok, still can't find it. Pretend I am a child. Where do I find the missing lever from the point of the missing lever?

Edit: Turns out, I didn't need it. There's a ledge I could jump on, followed by climbing a pipe. I skipped it all. Which, I think is pretty neat. Still don't understand the dude praying, tho. I assume it's something I missed.

I think he's just there for ambiance, if you come back later he's dead and you can loot some coins

That dude praying will show up later in the town after you defeat Darak, hes next to the house you can buy at the cemetery. Another NPC that shows up is a woman near the shrine to the old gods, she talks about Daraks story and how he hated Elsworth.
You did the shortcut, but someone said that theres a bug that prevented him from accessing the rest of the sewer after Darak if you did the shortcut.

Oh poop. Well, that's rough. But I couldn't access anything in the sewer, bc I couldn't find that lever. So I guess it's nothing lost on my end.
