Yeah that is the death room if you find those big axe dudes in there, the ones that throw bombs, really annoying, parry is key in those cramped rooms though.
Other place the axe guy appears is up the vines near the daughter and father campsite after the bridge, before the whisper of the swamps, really annoying.
Well that doesn't really sound like engaging design, but yeah I had to drop the Ent fight in the highest part of alt-sacra mountains, just not a good placement for that enemy
There is no problem with the enemy itself, there is a problem when you're stuck in the clambering animation and the Ent sweeps you back down where you came from
Could be fixed by making the clambering animation "stealth" or make the player impervious to damage until they are finished with the final animation of climbing sections
