Jump too? Dang. I'll wait a bit and do some digging. If it's moddable I might try and make a plugin for it.
Yes, this game has one button, but I have to say, after 40+ hours, I never had an instance where I ran instead of dodging from an enemy or vice-versa...
I think you will be fine if you played this game, truly.
...Now, jumping to one's death is a whole other story. Any little cliff/ledge can potentially initiate a JUMP if sprinting and can lead to many unfortunate accidents. Lol, or rolling off a ledge etc.
Eek. I am rusty with unity modding, buuuut I might crack open the files and see if I can alter the keyboards. No guarantees though.
The game still treats dodge as on-release only - whether it's combined or separate (kb/m case). This is the primary (and hated across most souls games) issue. So unless you properly separate those two ...
Btw, kb/m rebinding is a buggy mess[forum.norestforthewicked.com], and that's just my initial findings. And not counting upcoming feedback .
I just changed the parry button to mouse 2 and the rune attack to mouse 3, no problem remapping those either.
Sadly dodge is on-release only, regardless if it's separate or not (thus making the split kind of meaningless). Hopefully they won't ignore it.
Oh hell yeah! Thanks for the input man! And you guys have fun developing too!
