also there's an official discord server.
sounds like the next one is coming some time in december/january.
The devs also talked recently about the coop and multiplayer, saying something about being working on that for 4 years already, they were in development for a long time before EA, maybe this EA wont take long to turn into release, but the way they talk about what they want in the game, i guess we will see a lot of patches even after release.
Total MMO brainrot.
I complained about that on their foruns saying that i didnt want them to nerf our PC/Console experience just so the game can run on a mobile plataform, that sh-it should be a afterthought at best.
But i didnt read anywhere about the plague system changing the world while we are log out, if there is any downside to this, like the water system on "Forever Winter", then its indeed MMO bullsh-it.

" We're introducing the Pestilence in this update......something will happen in this update and the Pestilence will spread all across Isola Sacra. The main goal here is to ensure that the overworld will not stay static anymore.....Which then means the player has to fight back the Pestilence.........People in general right now are very sensitive about anything that's tied to time. So we are also introducing a feature which allows the player to control that, but still, some players might be frustrated again if they haven't played in a month and most areas in Isola Sacra are infected. "

Mechanic-wise, I understood it would change enemies, resources, and loot in the area. If it adds different/better resources and loot it is not necessarily something "bad"/punishing.
Of course it all depends on the actual implementation. I guess we'll see when it releases.
That is implying that if we dont play for a month when we return things will be taken over by the plague that werent before we left.
I paid and play a bit so there would be no going back and refund even if I wanted to. Which as I said I don't.
why do devs not use the community board nowadays...i hate to be in 3000 different discords -.-"
then they wonder why nobody buys there games....of course why would someone buy it if the only things they are post are occasional patchnotes on steam and no further details on future things at least once a month....if i look at EA games the first thing is always to look up what they posted recently...if there is nothing interesting posted then the chance that i will buy/try it is already very low
EDIT: last store page announcement inside steam is from July...i definitly would not look anyfurther in to the game, if i would discover it for the first time
If they force steam users into a mandatory third party account, without disclosing it on the steam store front before buying, steam will probably let you refund. They did the same as Sony tried their bait-and-switch with Helldivers 2 and the mandatory psn account.
Bro if the plague spreads even when I'm not playing the game, and there is no way to disable that mechanic, I'm never playing this game again.
Yeah it's another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass mechanic that tries to force players to dump time into the game for no reason.
