What? You mean it's not the best looking game ever like some of the posts on here say? I'm shocked, SHOCKED.
I have a 4070 Super and I'm a bit worried because I like to play at 4k... Even with DLSS/FSR (assuming it's there from the get-go..... which I'm going to assume it will be since it's 2024), I'm a bit concerned that 4k/60 will be out of my reach, on "quality" at least. Would be nice if they shared some hardware recommendations prior to launch.
Not sure if that means during early access or when finish but we'll see tomorrow on GFN Thusdays.

Are you a paying sub for GFN? I'm curious how well it works at this point... What resolution do you tend to play at (and what type/size screen do you use)? Input lag not an issue?
I pay the Ultimate sub for GFN even though I only play in 1080p. Thats because the Ultimate Tier uses a RTX4080.
I tried the lower Tier but some STEAM early access games are awfully optimized and the 4080 helps a lot.
On Ultimate you can configure GFN to use up-to 4k resolution and 240FPS.
Mind you though, even on a 4080 most new games struggle getting over 100 FPS on highest settings without DLSS or similar, using just 1080p but thats nothing to do with GFN but a general problem with most games these days.
In regards to performance, I have zero input lag.
But, you will need a stable download/upload. I personally have a 1Gb download and 400Mb upload and use internet through cable not wifi when playing on GFN, though when I use wifi it also works just the same.
Basically the faster and stable your internet the better.
And if you don't have a download limit even better.
I have GFN client configured to use Max bitrate of 75Mbps which can use aprx 22GB per hour of data.
As my PC is a GTX1080 and i7-5820K I paid at first 1 month of ultimate and never lookeed back.
I play on my old PC or laptop using the GFN client, and never experienced issues.
I didn't know they have a TV app, sweet :)
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I knew about the 4080 which is why I asked. 4080 is so much better than even my 4070super that I'd consider a temp sub (if i somehow got it really cheap) just to play certain games AT 60 FPS (which is what I play at). Many games have been performing WAY under expectations (under "par" , if you will) lately, but even when it's not just poor 'optimization' there are games these days that just require tremendous power (even at 60fps - esp if considering any ray tracing!!). The 12GB on the 4070/super/ti is just not adequate for the biggest games these days if you want to try raytracing above 1080p (which, strangely, RT is their big selling point for the cards.....and even upscaling won't help).
anyway thx for the reply. sry for sidetrack
