Of course, the game is in early access, and many things will be fixed, but I’ll still go over the negatives.
The game frequently crashes, and the interface (information windows) lags. It also eats up a lot of hardware resources, causing my system to heat up significantly. Sometimes, the camera gets blocked in an unfortunate way because the landscape doesn’t become transparent in certain cases, making the character invisible—for example, in the quarry.
The inventory system is somewhat inconvenient, particularly on the right section—whether it's the equipment on your character or items in a chest. When you hover over an item, the information window pops up directly over it, making it hard to see.
It’s also unclear how building upgrade timers are calculated (though maybe it was just a bug). If I stay in the city, the timer runs in real-time, second by second. But when I enter a dungeon with repeating rooms, spending hours inside, I return to find that the building upgrade hasn’t even reached the halfway mark. That feels strange.
It’s great that locations refill with new enemies, but it also reduces the incentive to level up (both character level and equipment). If you want to farm materials for cooking and head back to an early location, like the beach, you’ll find new high-level monsters from your latest zones instead. That’s odd. I get that the game has a Souls-like style, but even in the notoriously tough Bloodborne, you could return to earlier areas to farm healing items safely. Here, you’re under constant pressure.
This issue is especially noticeable in dungeons, where difficulty increases alongside your level, making them extremely hard to clear. Your success often depends on what random buffs you get, which feels unfair. The same goes for chests—the loot scaling everywhere feels too uniform. There’s a lot of randomness in general when it comes to enemy spawns and drops, which sometimes makes the world feel alive, but at times, it’s too much (for example, regular enemies can drop weapons or armor they don’t even use). A prime example is the boar tusk—there are entire pages on the internet dedicated to this item just because it's unclear where and how to farm it.
Please adjust the bomb-throwing enemies! It’s fine that they can turn toward the player when throwing, but the issue is that their bombs can suddenly change trajectory at the last moment—sometimes flying much farther or shorter than expected. I’ve had situations where bombs curved around walls to hit me.
Now, a personal request:
Please add more crafting items (weapons, armor, etc.). This will be relevant both for early access and after the full release. It’s always nice to have a large selection of gear, especially for cooperative play, which, as I understand, is planned for the future. Also, please add a direct teleport to dungeons—allowing players to instantly travel to the main city plaza or a dungeon from anywhere.
