Replacing gems (slotables in gear)

it schould work , just let me slam new one in destroying the old one in the process , i really would like to replace the thing that had range 4-10 that rolled 3 in my otherwise perfect item

Think its wip from dev side! hopefully next update we have destroy current gem-> replace new gem.
Right now its mainly because to slow the progress of players, though many have already killed echo knight bos 100 times after breach expansion xD

There'll be a way to remove gems.
If your problem is having "low roll" you can use the exalt system to upgrade to max roll.
Also if you want a perfect item you need to exalt all affixes/gems on it to make the item "exalted"
(Exalted item gain a bonus in defense for armors, resistance for rings and damage for weapons)

It's in the game yes, and farming the plagued zone for the materials needed to exalt items is a decent end game for now (alongside the crucible)

Oh, so they put it in a different place. Because I was disppointed when I saw that Limnus doesn't have it anymore.

i got exalt ring from merchant and it gives me + 25 % armor lol
very early , basicali after my first merchant upgrade
