No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked

We should not be allow to review the game during EA
Why do I say that? because the game is not done, and clearly people review an unfinish product, and those peopel who leave a thumbs down, may actually end up loving it, if the game was actually finish and optimized...so it sucks that the game and Moon studios gets hurted by these reviews for an unfinish game...

It's unfair...every who buys an EA game knows that there will be bugs and unbalance and wipes in the game....so it's just sad....I really hope they can keep going with the game and really turn this around

Then we should not pay full prices for EA.

EA is bad model. Just release finished games.

Spot on.
It's not unfair.
Games get put into EA so we do point out the flaws of it. Or at least it should be like that.
Personally I probably wouldn't give this game a thumbs down, but it's totally fine to do so and tell the devs what they didn't like and think should be changed.

Yes, an EA game is unfinished, but deserves just as much criticism as a finished product.

Yeah. It seems its the current trend of the market and its really bad. Its like devs say why keep developing without any profit when we can get money and work at the same time. All games have been doing this and for me I dont like that approach at all the way the gaming market is heading to.

It would be worse if we could not review early access. It's usually a pretty good indicator.
And if you look at the reviews, many of them are legit. This game mixes:
- Diablo
- Souls-like
- Crafting/survival

And diablo and souls player don't like to farm ingredients, and crafting/survival players don't like hard bosses, etc.
I love the game, but I see why not everybody does, and maybe the game needs to be adjusted, but in favor of who?

Look at monster hunter, started with casual friendly now they have Arch tempered Rey dau which obliterates entire team in Mins!

That is how you scale difficulty. Let people learn, explore, identify and become better!

Think NRFTW is doing it from hotfix 2 well! Only thing is crucible XD. Just make it lvl 30

I mean I think we can give feedback on here on forum before we give it a final review...otherwise people in 2 years see negative reviews, but the people who left the review haven't changed it despite them enjoying the final product

The review system is from before early access. Maybe the EA and post-release reviews should be seperate, but who knows.
But not allowing reviews would be worse

that's true you got a point there, it's just sad that people will not see the game to it's full potential due to people leaving negative reviews...if it hurts the game so much that they can't continue making...and I think it sucks for that reason
I'm glad reviews exist. It's a good way to provide feedback or let others know the state/value of the game. It's neither unfair nor sad.

This is not full price for this game as devs write on store page in EA section, 1.0 will have full price so you already pay the cut price man.
With no reviews to look at the chances of me buying an early access game goes from like 5% to 0%

Its a bad model if you're expecting a finished game yeah. Eventually it will release or it wont just like it would without EA, those waiting for a finished product would be waiting all the same but it gives people who don't mind the risk and lack of content an opportunity to play and fund the game, give feedback etc. We wouldn't have a lot of cool games if it weren't for EA.

Unfortunately NRftW got screwed over and went on to sabotage themselves with the Breach, after building a ton of hype, which blew up in their faces. Coop will help things bounce back but I hope they at least do some kind of extensive opt-in testing for it or else the game will get blasted for having bad/buggy coop immediately with 0 chance at redemption, despite being EA.
