No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked

game is to easy
we all know that with the breach update the game tried to be more hardcore but sadly failed to do so, the game is way to easy and system far to forgiving here a few suggestion

-backstab got nerf to the ground to be almost impossible to perfom, keep it the hold way but instead of dealing damage to enemies, it's a insta kill on my self, this is the true hardcore

- they removed iframe on dodge roll, bring the dodge how they were before but when you dodge roll you break you neck and die, this is true hardcore

-food should spoils over time and deal damage when eaten while also automaticly taking the food shortcut

-right now i'm fighting darak in the sewer with tier 4 two handed slow af axe and deal 2% of damage per hit and that way to much, i should only deal 0.0002% per hit, the fight is so much fun and should be lasting at least 5 hour

edited feed back

-equipe loead is to generous at start, now you can equipe a light pants and a one handed weapon before you start fat rolling, we should be stuck with fat roll until we at least spend 10 point into load and then only you would be able to medium roll with a daguer

-pre patch weapon stats requirement work like this, a thier 3 pure streng weapon would require 22 streng, and a mixed stats tier 3 weapon would requipe 16 faith and 16 streng and that made sense, now a pure streng weapon need 22 streng and the mixed will require 22 streng and 22 faith and that make no sense, keep it this way, i have no complaints about this change

thank's for the amazing update you guys nailed it

I noticed that the recent updates caused a lot of dissatisfaction and I had doubts whether it was worth taking the game, did it really ruin it that much?

I mean it's in "managable" to a point, but definitely frustrating not in a fun way. But depends on each person. You can give it a try, probably today hotfixes will be released so. Getting 2-3 shot while you do minimum of dmg in some zones aint fun.

Im all up for hard encounters, but when you cant dodge sometimes, because of weird hit boxes, its no good. Or cant see because of terrain, its annoying.

And some of the changes they did, made the game worse imo. For example enchanting feels completely ♥♥♥♥, since most of the time you get garbage ones. Early game is much harder.

Unnecesary grinding etc...

There are plenty more, you can read through all the posts, review.

But visuals are fantastic, story is also entertaining, variety of weapons, tho i like to play as mage in fantasy games, so purely casting, which atm this game doesnt allow. As a "mage" you are forced to go melee with wand bonking enemy to build up "focus" which you then spend on 1 or 2 spells and then back to bonking. There is big variety of weapons of choice, but some of them feels weaker than other.

I feel like its supposed to focused mostly on melee combat, but it ruins the "class" fantasy.

As I said its worth buying, but keep in mind its Early access. But devs seems to be responsive.

As someone who never played before update, enemies are braindead. They can't climb on elevations and you can easily abuse that. So sarcasm aside, real difficulty improvement would be allowing them to do all climbing actions player can.

Players:"Hey Devs! We feel parry is useless because it has such a small window and dodge is the better choice!"

Devs: "No problem guys! We got you!"

Breach update: "We removed the i-frames of rolling and kept parry the same"

Players: "wait....WHAT?!"

This mentality was applied to basically every thing the players gave feedback on(I swear someone complained that food takes too long to eat in combat and the devs decided to be like "iight bet, lets limit how many food items they can use in combat"). Hotfix looks promising though. We will see.

I liked the visuals and the souls component of the game, but there is too much negativity because of the update and now I have doubts
