I did backup but I don`t know how to replace them now after update.... I found the save file folder and placed all the files but no success

I will just repost my reply in another thread here because it tackles the subject:

In the patch notes it's actually stated, that you have to start over for the breach. If you want to play your old save you have to use the "legacy-crucible" beta branch. But that will probably lock you out of the new content
