Stamina is only a problem if you are using the two handed sword, even with anything else its advizable to invest a level in it, with any class, but some people didnt even do that or respec later to use the points elsewhere.
I didnt notice this lack of responsiveness, you think the character is slow is that it? Compared to other games i think i can see that, but since most human enemies have the same "slugshiness" it might be just the animation type you know.
Oh and it gets better with some enchated itens that give speed too.
Jeezz of course is not your fault, it is developers' fault, this is common sense everyone agree right ?
The world is rubbish but yourself is perfect
But grind a bit and it becomes easier.
But a big update is coming april 30th
I have completed all the content in the game previously so I wasn't coming into this brand new so I cannot imagine how bad it must be for a brand new player.
Yes this was before the 1st boss so no enemy or resource respawns.
I was using a 2h staff to start with - only weapon I found other than a mace with 1 dmg which I tried too but was not very effective.
What I discovered was that I was heavy weight class and had only invested 1 point in stamina. I managed to find a 5 dmg sword and enough enemies to level up I so added 4pts to stamina and got rid of the shield and reduce armour to be in normal weight class and then I could actually move. Still have issues with the input delay esp when healing but with the new setup the boss was easy and I think I used 1 heal if any.
Thanks for the helpful advice.
I have already completed all content in the game so I know it is hard but doable.
What was confusing to me is a game I already completed and had experience with was not only a lot harder than I remember but also very boring because there was no sense of progression or improvement and no real variety in options if you wanted to win a fight.
My feedback to the developers would be that if you make the game too difficult at the very start before a player has any enjoyment or investment or limited or no options to tweak their build then you will lose a lot of players. There is no need to make the game easy but if you filter the majority of players before they get to the first town that is a lot of potential players leaving (or refunding) a game.
The game is not open world and so using the intro area to teach the mechanics and explain things like the weight class and how to craft meals etc as well as combat basics is more important than challenging them.
Also the intro area having no resource or enemy re-spawns is an odd choice - not wanting people to farm stockpiles or over level is one thing but it is not explained so gathering every resource and then using them feeling that they are freely available only to discover they are one and done later doesn't feel great.
Find the combat in Wicked fun, since you can walkbehind to do the backstab so forth it's very fluent.
Wicked is easy now and if you struggle then the breach update will help since it will be way easier to get good gear.
You made a thread about the lack of players, and yet you came in another thread to say the same thing again, i wonder if you are not the angry one, mine is just frustration.
