All the fans of the games *knows* it's not a dead game. If you did any kind of research you knew as well. Which leads to 2 possibilities:
- You know they are working hard, you are just lying and acting like a child
- You don't know about the devs, and therefore should not talk about something you don't know about
https://forum.norestforthewicked.com/c/no-rest-for-the-wicked/5
Neither on the website, Youtube nor the discord has any info on what they are working on. If you guys (Rallianto, Shadowfrog) know another source then please post it, otherwise you are gaslighting the op and yourself.
Ok, I found this, I do not have a X-account so I can not look further:

We will see if they really are "cooking". Going radiosilent for months like this is a bad sign. I hope they will deliver, I liked Ori and would love to try something else from the studio. They should have enough people in order to share some stuff with us to keep our interest going.
Thank you

To our Wicked fans,
As 2024 is coming to a close, we want to take the time to thank you for joining us on our journey with No Rest for the Wicked. This has been a huge year for all of us at Moon Studios.
Launching Wicked in Early Access in April was quite the beginning. We've been listening to your feedback very closely, rapidly rolling out hotfixes, balancing, optimizing and adding quality-of-life improvements to the game. With The Crucible Update we added a whole new rogue-lite mode, setting the stage for more replayability out of the existing Early Access content.
Since then we've been hard at work on “The Breach” and our next big Content and Feature updates. We know we’ve been quiet - a lot has been happening for us at Moon Studios during this year, and we will finally be able to share all about it very soon!
We will be kicking off 2025 with a new announcement in January and you can also expect better and more frequent communication on our Official Channels throughout the year.
Thank you for sticking with us and helping shape No Rest for the Wicked into something truly special. Your passion, feedback and support continue to further fuel our passion since the very first announcement at the
@thegameawards
. We couldn’t be more proud of our team at
@moongamestudios
and everything we have in store for 2025.
Here’s to an even bigger year for No Rest for the Wicked, Moon Studios and all of you!
Happy holidays! 🎉🎊🎁
The Moon Studios Team ❤️
Every dev on steam usually post their info here, roadmaps and what they are doing, these devs dont do that, so what are you guys gonna do? You can go to youtube to search for it, Ginger Prime talks about no rest all the time, you can go on discord, which i dont like either, or you can go to their foruns to get the info.
Problem is you think every dev should post here, when some of them dont do that you act like entitled children and bash the game and the devs instead of looking for the info outside steam.
And before you come with the same argument that if every dev did this it would be a mess of foruns for your 200+ games, i agree, its not ideal, better to have it all here, but since thats not the case grow the hell up and search for it.
People are to impatient and expect to be spoon fed everything clearly lol
Either there are issues or follow an uncommon/weird way of carrying out early access.
What's the point of early access if players can't access the content early?
I own several similar games in EA and all of them release regular updates and fixes every other week.
Moon studio is no new studio so they should know how important communication is.
Going silent is never a good sign. I am probably not the only guy who already forgot I bought this game several months ago.
So if it is not about keeping players hooked either by content or news, what is the point of EA then?
The holiday's news sound very generic and what does 'new announcement' even supposed to mean? They didn't even update their roadmap that currently ends at The Breach. They work on The Breach since month, probably since start of EA.
I would expect a new content update after all the time but not a 'new announcement'.
They couldn't even say an approximate date when The Breach would be released. So the 'new announcement' may be just a release date for The Breach.
Not having a roadmap is also suspicious since I don't know what to expect in terms of content and timelines. The 'new announcement' could very well be the end of EA. They didn't commit to any content anyways.
If it wasn't Moon studio that proofed they can deliver good games, I would stay away from this game. There are a lot of warn signs and about nothing that would give me confidence or makes me looking forward to.
I hope I am wrong. I really like the game.
I've been playing path of exile 2 which is smooth as silk. It has many more monsters and many more things happening at the same time on the screen, and it runs at a beautiful frame rate as everyone knows. There's just something a little bit off about the movement of this game that I was hoping would be fixed as one of the first updates. Performance has improved since launch, but the movement still feels a bit weird to play.
Also on their forum there is no more info than here in Steam news.
There are monthly updates for new assets, balancing and fixes. This let me think they are to much focused on trying to make the existing map 'perfect' while struggling to move forward with the game.
Let's see what they are announcing next month.
