No Rest for the Wicked

Alchemist Cave run back is horrendous
Like worse than anything in any Dark Souls game. Having to start back at the spore tree and go through the whole thing again every time is awful. And it's not a short way either.
There must be a way to streamline it, make shortcuts that can be opened up or something.

well its kind of the point to walk back from the spore tree as it opens up new ways when u hallucinate.
I had some trouble with it as well until I changed my control style (keyboard and mouse has several options) and had to travel back to repair my gear once from falling into my death too often. There was one enemy at the end where I was like, nope I just dodged it and ran for it.

I was also feeling it overstayed its welcome. First I really liked it and found it cool and creative but it wears off after dying like 10 times. So more shortcuts would be welcome. I know skill issue but there were two jumping sections I struggled with and some enemies I did not encounter before and had to learn their moves the hard way. Also the section with the ranged enemies you have to just run past to not get killed didn't help.

For referencee, did this before the first boss as I love the exploration.
