No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked

Is it worth it?
I remember the hype about this game when it was released in early access. But now it seems nobody still playing it and there's also mixed reviews.

So, what's the problem with this one? Gameplay looks fun, but I don't want to buy another EA title which never comes to release.

Wait for the update, it looks like it brings a decent amount of content. Also, characters you make now aren't really compatible with the next update. The game now doesnt have alot to do tbh.
I'll recommend watching their update from the other day:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzAtYaSYZms
They explain it all, they have been silent with no updates for some time, due to a split from publisher.
I would wait until April 30, because a big update comes out

Depends on what you are hoping to find, are you looking for a great story? if so, don't buy until full release. The game however is the best feeling isometric ARPG I've every played, it's honestly impressive that there first ARPG some how manages to feel leagues above everyone else.

The team must have some serious talent that is for sure.

Right? When I first played Ori I felt the quality of the game, same for Ori 2. That's why I tried this game, and I felt the same, even I am not into soul-like games. These devs focus on quality and game-feel etc, it's a joy to play their games.

No, you don't.
Unique case, the problem is not in the game. The game has HUGE potential.
BUT. It's just not being made. Literally no updates for years, no content no story chapters. It feels like game development is dead.

The game's quality and direction as being the first time for this studio in this genre is incomparable to most games out there, big AAA titles, as this game is being properly taken care of instead of being rushed and trashed by its own devs. Your impatience does not classify this game as being underdeveloped, its actually heavily worked on, but theres people like you which do not offer the devs the freedom to bring that HUGE potential that you are talking about, to life. Sit down and take a breather, the game is only going to improve from now on, as shown in the showcase for The Breach.

That is wrong. It has neither been "literally years" and there is an update around the corner. They also just bought the rights and went independent

The game has potential ,to be perfect souls like, hack`n slash, beautyfull crafted master piece. Just buy ,a xbox controller.

Don't listen to this troll. I'll waste my time responding so others won't need to.

The game came out April 18, 2024, less than a year ago. Next, the game has had content added since that time, as well as many patches and hotfixes. In addition, the developers just announced a huge content patch coming on April 30. Yet, this troll lies about these things and says it feels like development is dead.

In addition, the publisher was sold and the developers handling obtaining publishing rights.

The quality of this game is well above that of a typical indie game. Anyone who knows about the development or state of both Ori games knows something of their capabilities.

I noticed very dreadful silence. All encompassing silence, low play hours and zero tolerance discussion when it comes to just no intetest among anyone.
Was wondering if this was a single player, co-op or online like Diablo ? Also can we use the mouse click to move around

right now it is single player, but the update after the breach update on april 30th will feature coop according to the latest FAQ. and pvp will also come at a later time. coop will be 4 player realms. so u create a realm for yourself and 3 friends.

as for mouse movement, i play with controller myself, but as i understood from others, u need keyboard input to move, but then u move towards your cursor. you also attack towards your cursor (view point).

but its not the typical click spam to move and press button for ULT attack to clear the board type of game. if that was the question.
oh alright thanks
