No Rest for the Wicked

Upgraded the graphics card, but the FPS is lower
I like this game very much. In order to play this game, I specially upgraded the graphics card, but the FPS of the picture is lower. It turns out that the old graphics card is RX580 2048SP 8GB. The game screen can reach 40-60 FPS at a resolution of 1920 * 1080. The upgraded graphics card is RX7700XT 12G. Other hardware has not changed. The FPS can only reach about 25, but what is the reason for this? Please reply to the developer?

How many gig of RAM do you have installed, that might be it?!

Did you do a clean install of Radeon drivers?

that should be plenty, so yeah drivers then.

Look in to DDU to do a clean driver install.
Forgot to add, make sure your CPU isn't bottlenecked. Monitor GPU and CPU usage while running the game.

But that same bottleneck should have existed on the old gpu.
Sounds like a driver issue. Otherwise, check the gpu. Are other games running better? Maybe you have bought a malfunctioning gpu? Is it used?
the same goes for me man, i playrd on my rtx 3070 and i was getting 100-120 fps most of the time and this week i upgraded my gpu to rtx 50 series and for my surprise the game runs terrible. on ultra 1080p with dlss quality i get 40-50 fps.

playing other games has improved the picture quality

What is the rest of the system...CPU, memory speed, SSD or disk drive etc. how old is the rest of your system, have you updated the bios. Unfortunately just slapping in a new GPU may not help.

This game is very CPU-related. And memory speed. And of course SSD.

Upgrading the GPU without changing other hardware, but reducing the FPS

May be game saw better GPU and automatically raised settings and the rest components (CPU/mem) can't manage it.

What kind of PSU do you run? If you run a solid 600 to 700 W PSU you should be fine.

Reset drivers with DDU.

Check if your graphics card runs the proper power state in the game. For some reason it might not go into maximum power state thus limiting your fps below what it should be.

Those are the 3 things that come to my mind first.
