Quit the as soon as I beat Echo Knight. With no loot for killing enemies, running Crucible feels like being a rat in a maze. These devs out to watch David Brevik's "Diablo postmortem" at GDC, so they understand the basic psychology of ARPGs.
Yea, its trash and its a waste - Wish I could get my refund in GREEN coin thingies.
So many other ways to 'heal' such as FOOD etc, lmao...
Wasting echos on healing with a menu is weird.
Especially since it costs 40 echos too! Weird design decision.
Pretty sure everyone thought, collecting gold echo essences would actually HEAL rather than manually healing via Echo menu.
Well, I will say there are shortcuts to boss, but I don't recommend it unless you are confident in your skillset and understand Echo Knight patterns because you may be skipping too quickly without significant buffs leaving you really lean/underpowered.
There are various Echo skip (1 or 2 rooms or several more rooms) at a time you can us via Echo menu screen.
You can stragetically refresh 2 or 3 slots individually, and keep the ECHO skip buffs until you get to room 7 or 8, and immediately skip to Echo Boss avoiding room(s) 7, 8, 9 which are generally harder hitting enemies with added health. (Mobs themselves are RNG at later rooms tho, so its a gamble.)
Outside of Crucible, AGI rings and Willow ring ACTUALLY scale with attack speed etc.
If you had AGI rings before patch, you effectively received a passive buff.
Lastly, Outside of Crucible, there are several new quests outside Crucible for additional chances to lv-up or get some random gear!
