Cerim Crucible is a fn joke...

5 mobs a time, with ranged and big one, and they constantly casting this blue flame which is almost impossible to avoid... what about balancing these fights?
It's not about skill for those who will be saying "git gud". You can't skill out situation when you roll from one ♥♥♥♥ to another

For example tall guy with a hammer, you can parry his first attack but he continue attacking you, and while you getting next 2 attacks you can be staggered and then someone just burn you with this fn flame

Boss of the first crucible casts the blue fire in pretty large puddles that last FOREVER. I died because he slammed me and my character went flying into one that he had made over two minutes prior. Arena was tiny too. All in all don't feel alone the crucible is mid rn.

It's not supposed to be easy, and when you fight 5 mobs at the same time then somewhere something went wrong, you can either fight carefully and pick them off one by one or run away and most likely not all of them will follow you.

Crucible was hard for me at first, but I have cleared it now over 10 times after eitother without fail, only way I sometimes die now is by rolling off an edge or something, I havent died to mobs or bosses for a while now, so it definitely doable, just requires some knowledge of the mobs/bosses, and picking the right times to attack, getting higher lvl or max lvl also helps, and have at least some points in health/stamina, and ofc getting better gear with good stats will also help.

Also for the boss specifically, having a second weapon that buffs you works pretty good, just switch to your second weapon, buff yourself up, use a pot if you do not have enough resources, the buffs stay when switching wep, get food buff/elixir, switch to main wep and it should be a lot easier.

I don't thinks this is intended to be like that when you run away from the room too lure one mob a time, if they all waiting for you at the arena, and also it's not always possible to lure them one by one

actually I died once when I tried to kite them, and they just burned me with a flame, because you can dodge it if you see caster or hear him, but if you lose him you just can't... this is just random

and I'm not saying this is hard, Im saying that it's random, because sometimes you can go on the same arena and there will be 3 mobs instead of 5

Yeah it's hard when you actually run into like 5 mobs at once, one mob alone can already be difficult sometimes, only thing I can suggest is what I said if you actually ran right into them already, but you can also throw a bomb at one mob if you see there's a lot of mobs and you havent engaged with them yet, that's what I usually do when I notice there's at least 3 mobs.

If you are struggling with the rooms before the boss in crucible then it's 100% a skill issue or you're just under geared. The rooms are insanely easy, boss is pretty tough the first few runs.

Get better gear. Familiarize yourself with every mob on every level. Don't rush, pick one target at a time. It gets easy, only had trouble with boss, still learning.

dude boss much easier, then 5 mobs a time. how you can't skip them or kite because you on a small arena and you can do nothing with only spam them with bombs, but this is just a waste of bombs, because you won't do it each time. I can easily* manage encounter when there 3 mobs, but when there 5 mobs, I can kill 1 or 2 before they spam me with ♥♥♥♥

I found the video with a guy kiting them and making tall guy kill them all, but I believe it something with AI, because they typically are not clipping that much and have better tracking and path finding

are u lvl 21+? most streamers are at 25-30 lvl when using crucible.

When I got there I was 20, now I 23. Level doesn't matter there, it's not about the damage it's about the amaount of attacks you have to dodge at the same time. And suff like blue flame can easily kill you, because if you don't see the caster or don't hear him finishing cast you can dodge it only if you have very good reaction, because there only like 1-2 frames before it makes damage.

I opened this discussion after I died on the same spot 3 times in a row, because of the same reason, and then I tried once more, and passed this part without problems, because there were only 3 mobs instead of 5

crucible is far manageable from 25+. That's why you see the players exp around 6500+.
