TL;DR - when trying to make a tricky jump at a weird angle, dont use WASD (like dont even touch them) simply move your mouse cursor where you want to jump and press SHIFT and your character will automatically sprint/run towards your mouse cursor
You cna do the same thing for walking, pressing ALT while not touching any other key will have your character slowly walk towards the mouse, great for walking across narrow ledges or beam
Both of these options allow for proper 360 degree movem,nt (vs WASD which only allows moving on 8 different axis)
