I need help with Riven Twins boss

I need help with Riven Twins boss, parry doesn't work, it doesn't stun and they uses completely different timing system than other games.

I tried speed setup with dagger, died because I can't dodge all the rotation attack

I don't want to grind to lv 20+ just to beat this boss with insane setup. I saw some online that has insane setup where they can dodge 4 times and stamina immedaite regen to full.

I also don't want to have a shield and one hand weapon, I am a bit more 2 hander.

I tried big two sword, usually I am able to get to half health but also died because of the rotation attack and grab

Also, the grab range is insane HUGE. I was like 2 ft away from the grab and it still grab me. WTF

Anyway, need help, I am running out of potion, and I really don't want to grind for this game.

I'm level 12, am I underleveled?

Turns out I was full on inventory that's why I can't buy from cook. Thanks for those who pointed out.

1 - 270 swing

2- 3x 360 swing

3 - the same attack pattern like the druid boss Elites from cave forest

4. hit the floor form puddles or ice aoes

5- hit chest and projectile

Check them and wait for resting window, and do much dmg and use focus skill, and u can stagger. Use any bombs if you can. You can parry some of the rotation attacks, though he wont get staggered

You forgot about the Ground Pound that covers around 75% of the arena. They'll do it when they get down to their last third of health and it's like, three hits that spread out from to you. Found the best defense against it was sheer range.

I beat it by getting 20 healing item, and keep waiting until he stop rotating. This is a stupid boss to be honest, all it does is test you if you remember how many rotations he is going to make, sometimes he does rotation like 6 times!!! or 8 times!!! this is just stupid.

yea, I am maining the unique drop from the first torn.

this boss was a pushover for me at level 15, not even a second phase. light equip load and 3 agility rings with brothers keeper enchanted w/ lighting damage, bring focus vials, and you can stagger this boss 3 times.

I just beat it at level 12 so no, you're not underlevelled. Make sure you upgrade and enhance all your gear if you haven't.

beat the boss with my 2H build easy. I was surprised how easy it was. Just try to dodge into his aoe swing just right about when he starting it .. that way i could avoid the swing dmg and land my focus skill ... drink focus potion and repeat ... i was lvl 15

People dont realise OP is using the warrick GS, it is far worse than the claymore

12 seems low to me but it all comes down to skill and I'm sure eventually there will be people who beat him unarmed at level 5 or whatever. I had difficulty at level 15 so I did the grind up to 17 and then beat it pretty handily. Sometimes you do have to grind a little.. I didn't find it painful personally.

Not in a million years... Twins is easier than any boss I remember from DS. Completely static and with heavily telegraphed attacks. The closes he is to souls is Godrick probably, and Godrick is a lot more troublesome due to his mobility and shorter windups.

Please, people... Stop pretending this game is that hard. It's not. Once you get the tempo this is one of yhe more layed back arpgs.

The only bosses on his level in DS1 were Ornstein and Smought and kalameet. Dark Souls 2 maybe Fume knight and Ancient dragon. 2 out of those 4 are optional bosses and 2 were DLC bosses. This is 4th boss in the game. Like I said, Dark Souls 3 and Elden ring has several harder bosses, but many are later in the game. Margit and Abyss watchers are early I guess.

Go back and play Dark Souls 1 again if you haven't recently. Either you haven't done that or you're just being disingenuous for some ego trip. This community can be so toxic. I don't get it.

hmm, I disagree. It depends on your stats and load out and drops and your level. I want to see if people can continuously dodge his 8 rotation swing attack. He does that almost everytime I try to dodge too much and I always get hit once or twice, very annoying.

You dont continously dodge his rotation. You walk out of its range completely. That's the trick, literally. Especially if you have claymore/spear as you dont need to be in his face to deal damage. Bait enemy in the corner of the arena, keep him there by engaging, and you will always have space to escape to.
