Being EA or not is not on Steam's side. It is the publisher/developer that sets that. For example Outpost : Infinity Siege. It is not marked as EA but it definitely is since the main campaign is unfinished and stops abruptly. I asked about that and i was told it is because of their publisher iirc.
Is there any evidence that they can't do this properly? Have they had a finished release that flopped yet? Are we just tossing conspiracy theories against the wall now and seeing what sticks?
Seriously.. what is wrong with some of you? I swear it's like you're hoping for failure.
They don't even understand that Moon Studios is still independent and not owned by anyone, they have basically no footing for anything they said. Let alone anyone who doesn't grasp how much of a success this game's EA is outside of optimization and how much they've already proved in regards to the potential.
The devs need money, that they can't get from their indie publisher.
They release in EA for 40$ to get more money for development.
Once they run out of even that...gg.
And yet they own the Ori games...
Ori isn't roguelike. It's a platformer metroidvania.
