My guess is there will eventually be a big multiplayer component to this.
People nowadays are very impatient,. I guess devs nowadays should realy add a baby mode to cater to a lot of people that wants everything handed to them. Because any mechanic that makes them wait or make them do something extra , they will complain.
So cause other games have dumb/tedious systems that means all should.
Logic has left to room if that's your argument.
It's their game mechanic vision to visualize time, I mean they could add more detail to this by visually seeing the building get built by the workers as you pass them by. Hopefully they can add this in the future.
In Palworld as in my example, it also simulates time and exitement to hatch them eggs and see the result. A lot of people are also impatient and removed those timers with a .ini command.
I guess people can just use cheat engines, or maybe devs can add a toggle to remove this feature, same with durability if they want to cater to such people.
3 words.
Dragon Age Inquisition.
Never bring that game up unless your point it to say your impressed that it works.
That game legit killed Bioware due to dumb fans having 0 standards.
Thank god no, it's real time timer even if you do not play.
Still a bad design though
