No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked

Before to buy. Can You adjust the difficulty?
Can the difficulty be adjusted or is it just stupidly difficult to boast that it has a "souls" essence?

No adjustable difficulty. Whether or not you find it difficult is up to the individual. It was quite hard for me until I leveled and geared up significantly, but I’m not great at soulslike games.

It's a challenge but not all that hard imo. I have another friend who is decent at Souls games and finds it hard though, so it very much will differ for everyone.

Ok, well I was really bad with Elden Ring, even the most weak enemy killed me so easy... So You just can Imagine how bad is my skill.

without difficulty adjustment sounds worrying... I shouldn't take the risk.
At the time I couldn't refund Elden Ring, and I lost a lot of money

This is more similar to early dark souls games than Elden ring in my opinion so far. Slower, not quite as hard. Elden Ring had some kinda bad difficulty curves due to being open world that this game shouldn't have.

But if you don't like the soulsborne/ring type combat at all then maybe pass. But my advice would be to try it and see first just keep a close look at your time.

Not 100% positive but I believe you can still get a refund after 2 hours even, it's maybe just not as quick and painless. Also this game is only $36.

It depend on the weapon you use
1 h wp like sword don't stagger, so it is way harder to use
But 2h weapon like greatsword stagger the hell out of enemy and with long reach u can clear 2-3 enemy at once

It's hard and unfair and frustrating because that's who it's made for. No shame in passing on it if thats not your thing.

Yes, you are right, the only way is for me to experience it for myself, I am still on the fence, I really don't know if take it or not, since I have seen several videos of gameplays with people who have a good skill level and they spend a lot of time dying, and that disheartens me quite a bit... :S

That's understandable when you're new, sooner or later you'll get over getting upset by dying it's no big deal in these games, heck in this one you don't even lose souls or anything and have to go get them again, you just lose a little item durability there's not much penalty to death in here which you might like.

Don't let me talk ya into it I'm not trying to do that just sharing my experience between them is all. If you don't really like these kinds of games maybe pass.

Yes, I'm starting to accept it, I think I'll just go for Monster Hunter World, which is a game I've been really looking forward to for a while.

Visually the game looks exquisite, that's what really catches my attention, but not the "Souls like" genre.

So I´am thinking seriously if I'll let it pass...

But thanks for your opinion :)

Ummm brother (or sis'), with all due respect...that's a terrible seg-way.

MHW is known to be even harder than ER...

Oh really? I didn't found nothing when seeked info, and someone told me that could be challenging but not hard and easy to learn for beginners.

I recently bought it so, letts see if I can do this
But thanks for the advice 😅

Phenomenal game - highly recommend everyone plays it through - very fair balance and tons of upgrading/customization - not nearly in the same genre as this though.

I would love to know how 2H makes the game easy - souls vet here and its hard as tacks playing 2H once the game intros multi caster mages, etc. on elevated terrain - I'm like an ant running around for my life to even get close and do my slow swings lol :praisesun:
