If the design choices are bad.. why even buy this at release with a positive review score?
Would a full release with positive reviews suddenly make the bad design choices bearable for you?
I know I know BG3 was early access too but i do not think this game :
1- has the scale as BG3 had
2- has 7 years to be completed
I wonder if this is a PR tactic to say "Hey we have listened to you" and create a false sense of trust.
And your opinion is just that opinion, which I do not share.
This is interesting attempt to merge very disparate genres. There are some questionable design choices but I do not find them lazy.
Do you think this is a super special VIP Pass to play an unreleased game, potentially years before its official release?
Please explain your thought process thoroughly. This should be interesting.
Your word is compromised.
Like from 2020 to now, people have complained in BG3 about not being able to swap who is doing skill checks or dialog. Gale is literally breathing on my neck about this Arcana check my dumb ass is going to do instead of him. Yet nearing 4 years since BG3 went into early access they still don't allow you to swap. Sometimes devs make a choice and its not going to change.
I learned about it 2 days ago. and it's already better than D4/Lost Ark/PoE's garbage gameplay where you god mode your way into a swarm of 1000 mob's or 3 shot a boss with some broken meta.
Insecurity from the fans of inferior titles (excluding PoE of course).
