I dont understand why fanboyss defending the game. even for an early access this game is just bad in my opinion due to the design choices.

I can understand the performance issues given the early access title but the design choices has nothing to do with it and using people as a free tester is just lazy.

i can only buy this when it fully comes out and is above mostly positive on steam.

Otherwise, developers should learn about the consequences of their lazy choices, if it s not the developers then whomever is responsible for the decisions.

Would a full release with positive reviews suddenly make the bad design choices bearable for you?

This is interesting attempt to merge very disparate genres. There are some questionable design choices but I do not find them lazy.

That's literally why Early Access exists. That's actually the exact reason that it was created.

Do you think this is a super special VIP Pass to play an unreleased game, potentially years before its official release?

I mean the dev studio has shipped 2 full games, I don't think its going to sit in early access for multiple years. Hades 2 is also about to go into early access, and its..more Hades so why early access? Or Slay the Spire 2, its more STS so why are we going into early access? Its to get money injection and feedback, on design decisions you haven't mentioned still.

Like from 2020 to now, people have complained in BG3 about not being able to swap who is doing skill checks or dialog. Gale is literally breathing on my neck about this Arcana check my dumb ass is going to do instead of him. Yet nearing 4 years since BG3 went into early access they still don't allow you to swap. Sometimes devs make a choice and its not going to change.

I'm not even joking when i say this. I don't understand the hate, at all.

I learned about it 2 days ago. and it's already better than D4/Lost Ark/PoE's garbage gameplay where you god mode your way into a swarm of 1000 mob's or 3 shot a boss with some broken meta.

That last bit is where I think the hatred comes from.

Insecurity from the fans of inferior titles (excluding PoE of course).

i love the choices in this game have you played it much and actually gone through the mechanics or just had a knee jerk reaction i remember shuddering at durability and that hasn't been a problem since i upgraded into the 3rd village tier and had all good tools and lots more slots from ichor and was using the correct runes and food buffs!
