Armor definitely does something lol. Taking substantially less damage now that I have around 90 armor as opposed to the 14 you start with. You also don't get your poise broken as often.

Armor decreases incoming damage and makes you more resistant to being knocked down.
If you can avoid most of incoming damage then you can use light armor

Dont know how you geniusses come to the conclusion that armor does something. Echo knight with 750 armor = 3 shot. Echo knight with 250 armor = 3 shot. Literally does nothing.

kek then u were using whole game with cloth and leather all along, i have 1096 armor with some hp regen i dont even use my foods on normal mobs only on crucible boss and that is after i take 3-4 hits

Armor seems to help quite alot out in the world. But in crucible in seems to do nothing, especially against echo knight. So kinda annoyed I have so many points in equip load for armor, since ehco knight will 2 or 3 shot me with 1000 armor

Bull-crap, armor is great, my warrior goes heavy and shield and he takes way less damage than my mage, problem is some enemies hit too hard for you to not have a dodge, so going heavy was a big mistake hehehe, nonetheless i saw a clear difference, if you go naked later on enemies will one shot you.

You're 110% smoking something. I barely take any damage from the end game Echo Knight and I'm sitting at over 820 armor and 140-160 resistances. Early game is meant to be more forgiving for nerds who can't dodge, parry, or block apparently and think it's going to be how things will stay for the whole game.

To me the annoying thing about armor is precisely that it does make a difference but only against bosses. By the time you're able to farm crucible, you're 1-2 shotting every non-boss enemy in the game and not even getting hit. You only need armor and hp for Echo Knight so you dont get one shot yourself, but that's 1% of your total playtime and just wasted stats for the other 99%

Brain problems. I've been walking up to enemies and just trading blows 99% of the time my entire run once I got a full set of Mesh and then Plate after that.
