How to equip a bow ?

I got a bow but it seems to be on my left hand and I cant do auto attacks with it, just the special attacks. can I put it on my right hand ?

I can't figure this out either. I can see the bow equipped, but I can't figure out how to use it.

looks like we can do bow abilities by holding L1 but I dont know if its possible to do simple and charged attacks

Mouse button 1? Or are you talking about controller. I haven't gotten this thing to fire a single arrow, it's really frustrating.

I dont know for keyboard by when you hold a certain key, you can do weapon abilities

It's in your left hand (lb for controller) and you have to fill the orange focus bars to use it's two skills.

okay so we can only use skills with it ? Not possible to have it as a main weapon ?

I don't even think you can use the bow at all. My bow has 2 rune skills, but holding LB shows my dual-dagger skill still. Even when I have the focus doing the L1+Square move doesn't work.

As a side note, I am hoping that these 1-handed daggers can be dual wielded like the ones that come in a pair. Like Dark Souls 2 had powerstancing which everyone liked, then Dark Souls 3 brings out twinblades and you lost so much combinations as a result with the removal of powerstancing

If you equip a bow in your main hand, attacking will make you basically wack the enemies with the bow itself. You can only shoot arrows using Focus (the orange bar). Bows also wont work if your main weapon is dual handed

Yep bow is a 2ndary weapon, so dual dagger, 2 hander, shield doesn't work with it.
