Performance: 3070/5800X/16GB RAM = 14-20FPS at 1080p

I know it's EA and there's improvements coming, just wondering if anyone's got a similar rig and getting similar performance?

Based on what I'm reading I should probably be a lot higher (1080p Fullscreen, Performance preset) but yeah, super low FPS. Could be I'm doing something hilariously wrong, idk. Someone mentioned setting process priority to High, which I did, but no real difference.

Recommended req for 1080p and 60 fps is 3070 Ti and 5800X3D.

I have RTX 2070 super with i7-14700K 32GB DDR5 6000mhz ram. In the ship one time I had 50ish after that its like 70-75 on quality preset.

Hmmm any ideas? Is there like a system setting that's hobbling performance? I mean most things seem to run fine.

I'm playing on:

3700x
3060ti
16GB

It hits 60fps but it drops quite often, stutters every time assets load in and also just randomly at times. It actually runs at like 70fps+ for me but it doesn't really maintain it so it doesn't feel super smooth.

Also I've found that it runs like this no matter what settings I try, I tried it at 1440p and it worked for a while then started to stutter. I ran it at 1080p and it runs better but same issues no matter if I put the graphics on high/ultra/etc. It's totally playable and stuff but not the smoothest experience atm.

Running @4k it gives me around 40-60
It dips to low 20s sometimes for a few seconds when streaming assets, but relatively smooth so far.

Once DLSS and other optimizations are incorporated in this game, pretty sure I will get nearly double of the FPS I am getting now.

Soooo it sounds like I'm getting way lower than I should be given hardware.
