This is a know issue for Poles and we're trying to get Valve's attention to finally update the pricing, but so far no luck. Some developers were kind enough to change the pricing after explaining to them the issue, so we were also hoping it would be the same case here.
I wish you luck

Are you lying on purpose, or are you just ignorant?
Go to steamdb, find No Rest for the Wicked, sort by price, compare price of the game in USD and PLN, come back here and share the results.
EDiT: I'll make it easy for you. Polish price is 179 PLN, which is 45.7 USD.
US price is 39,99, which is 157 PLN - can you see the difference now?

You can also compare average salary in Poland and US, while you're at it.
When comparing living costs in the US and Poland, the cost of living in the US is higher by 68% - 135%. However, the purchasing power of the USD is 67% higher, and the average US salary is 3x of what you earn in Poland.
So even if we paid an equal sum in USD, games would still be hugely overpriced. I would argue about 30%. It's not like we are fighting for special privileges, since setting regional fair prices is common for countries with similar statistics. And this is the reason for this, and similar, topics. On Steam, we have always paid more than the rest, with some exceptions for developers who are aware of it. But lately, prices have spiked insanely high and are financially suffocating Polish gamers

Monthly salary:
36. Poland out of 97 listed coutries

SO that means that a developer should lose money on there product. Things cost what they cost.
They ARE losing money already, because people are NOT buying their games
Also, countries listed below must be in some magical charity program, since their prices start from -20% of base USD price.
By your (flawed) logic, the developers are already "losing money" by selling games in those countries. So why are they doing it? They like losing money? :D
Earning less money does not equal to losing money, as you seem to believe.
Its simple 1PLN is $3.9 but steam calculates polish prices by using $5. Its illegal and i hope UOKIK will severely punish steam for that.
Steam has a lot too lose Uokik can fine them 10% of revenue and managers responsible for it can individually be fined 2 milion PLN

Or perhaps Poland has a tax?
They talked about a entertainment tax here in the US, in my state. I am thankful they did not pursue that tax.
Yes, you pay it once on Steam and it's available through your purchase details.
For me it was:
And funny enough, even with discount, I've paid 41,08$ for the game.
Subtotal $35.99
Discount -$4.00 ( -10%)
Tax $2.70
Total $38.69
Not sure how it all works, that is what I paid.
All in all I am happy with my purchase.
Truth be told, if I had it to do again they could get me for another $20 but I would need more content.
