Needs Difficulty and Accessability Settings
Game is to hard, need settings for people with vision problems like me so I can more easily parry and block. Something similar to Arkham games, a shield over the enemies head if an attack can be blacked. And something other then reading animations for help with parrying.

Someone on the forums lied to me that the game had difficulty settings and the devs refused to answer questions about difficulty before release. I feel the game could be fun but in its current state it is to hard.

It is a Soulsborne game

So, no, you need to get better at the game

NO THANK YOU! Stay away from a "souls" game if it's too hard or get better.

I understand OP concerns, though. To me fighting is also unintuitive: every soulsborne enemies have nicely telegraphed attacks, this game is different. It's difficult to read your enemies. Tiny characters and camera stuck in one position don't help with this at all. An option for turning on some warning icons to make game more user-friendly wouldn't hurt anyone. Fighting definitely needs some refinements.

I mean, frankly, I think difficulty sliders are just a net positive. if it's so difficult to you that you're no longer having fun? Turn it down! If you're not having fun anymore because it's too much of a cakewalk? Fine by me too, just turn that knob to 11, this is spinal tap! Just go for it!

I have what are called floaters in my eyes making it hard to discern some animations so get good is not an option. Just give people difficulty and accessibility options.

Overly zoomed out view, poor camera angle, a stygian level of darkness, locked in combat animations, and lousy keyboard+mouse controls all serve to make this game nigh impossible to play well and enjoy. It's supposed to be a "souls-like" ARPG... So far I'm still waiting for the ARPG part as been all "Darksouls" so far

Game needs two options, one hit kill and infinite HP.

I knew this thread would be immediately overrun by the "u am need git gud xDD"-sheep.

What you are uncovering here is the sad state of the unparalleled idiocy of your average gamer. Miyazaki and his creations have managed to propagate an entire era of "souls-likes". These games are pretty hard to define and people will slap them on things vaguely mimicking the flow of combat as seen in Dark Souls (Dunkey also made a video about this: every game is either Zelda or a Soulsborne now - just because people see 2 things vaguely resembling either and those are the 2 everyone knows).

What "souls-bornes" do all seem to have in common is that the developers see it as a free ticket to waive having to consider any form of accessibility. After all, trying to apply proper game design to these games would "taint" the vision of being hard for the sake of being hard. Especially in the indie scene there are some god awful clones out there.

The hilarious part is that none of these games require much of anything from the player. Even games like Sekiro are actually piss-easy once the veil falls. There is a mod which displays the active parry frames and suddenly everyone and their grandma can play the game.

Which brings me to the point: souls-bornes HIDE the fact they're actually easy by deliberately making themselves ridiculous inaccessible. Unfortunately your average Joe is way too dumb to realize this, so they will just throw "git gud nob <:D" your way for even mentioning changing it.

You will not find what you seek here. This game is just another one of those in a long line of atrocious design failures that we will, hopefully, at some point look back upon with uniform aversion.

Kriegspartei A und Kriegspartei B ...

Also ... immer locker bleiben.
