GTX4070TI fan going nuts even in main menu

anyone else experiencing the same?
once I enter the main menu, my graphic card fan is going 100%, I don't think this graphic would got my 4070ti worked up like this.

3070 here and same thing. Gonna wait for some improvements on this one.

same with a 3080, and i got my fps blocked at 85, not even at 144...

Maybe there is no framerate lock in the menu. Some games tries to run crazy high fps in the menus pushing cards.

3440x1440, quality settings, 150% render scaling and Dynamic Resolution Scaling turned off -> 100-120fps on a 4080. There was a Game Ready Driver released this week.

hope the new driver will fix this, the fan noise is really annoying, and I fear it will damage the graphic card running at 3200rpm all the time.

some games have wonky main menu's like that. does it improve in the actual game?

I tried to play it for a few minutes, the fan is locked at 3200rpm , there is gotta be some bugs that caused this.

Yes, my 4090 goes totally nuts also, gets very hot.

The menu was running at 2000fps w/o v-sync enabled.

4080 Super here - no issues at all.
Max. 60°C on the GPU, < 60°C on CPU, fans not even ramping up.

are you playing at 60fps?
i got a fan curve, last drivers, blocked at 85fps, FANS GO BRRRRRRRRRR

i mean sure menus is bad, but did u actually try to start the game? it sounded like pc was about to fly

edit: yes im locking fps in nvidia panel to 60
