>remember Darktide/Daiblo 4.....the time we had full finished nice games is done i guess....
Even though we know that things don't always go as planned, releasing a game in early access without a timeframe is a really bad sign.
nobody is making you buy it. game is fantastic right now and I've enjoyred every minute of my 34 hours. probably won't play it much more until more content gets added, but that's fine with me.
Imagine buying a game at full price and being able to play a fraction of the full game, do you think that's a good thing?
It's been 5 months and apart from bug fixes and some micro implementations of the crucible, no news or noteworthy updates
I reserve my judgement for the next update.
But yeah if "the Breach" area can be played through in 30 minutes or less and at the same time they wasted time again by adding a bunch of gimmicky pvp and crucible content, I will be dissapointed too.
The main issue is not the price, but rather:
In the last months i got the impression that people dont know what EA is, yes it feels unfair, but thats what it is, we beta test the game for them, we find the bugs, we give them feedback, devs will even implement a skill tree because we hated that ichor crap they did.
Maybe this will teach people with no patience to stay away from EA, i have 4 games now on steam EA, some are 2 years in, full of updates, devs are indie so not 300 people working on it, its Tainted Grail btw. Let moon studios cook, better this than having a half as-sed game filled with bugs and poor balance.
Let me ask you something mate, and answer HONESTLY.
Does the price of this....product, reflect the value we received? Is there enough content to justify this price, for you? You are in here,EVERYDAY, coping and whiteknighting for these devs, so i imagine you are playing this ALOT?
And lets try something else, this game is the same price as some AMAZING,finished games....and you find it weird people are reacting the way they are? There is nothing here man, there is no game, there is a concept. Potential, sure, but they need to step it up, FAST. Last update says August 1, atleast on my feed.
This prototype of a game, should NOT cost as much as it does, if they want it tested because 'game not finished", dont ask for a price that rivals finished games, ask for a "early adapter" price, atleast half of what this is.
And mate....take a break from defending these developers, you are making a COMPLETE fool out of yourself, its sad,it really is.
And people pay full price for unfinished games all the ******* time. Day 1 Patches, and Monthly patches afterward to fix all broken BS.
They asked for $40, Showed a Trailer, said they'll do this, and don't have a end date cause its Early Access. that was your investment choice.
If your not happy with that... do more research next time.
I almost didn't buy this game cause of Trolls and Crybabies on Steam forums.
So ******* Glad I ignore them, dug abit deeper in what game was.
I got my monies worth, The Idea of Game is great, Its something I wanted.
I got over 100+ hours out of it easy. (Thou I play offline.. so its abit higher) if trolls and crybabies win and Devs give up, I got my money worth. I'd be mad Great Idea of Game got wasted..
Anyone defending devs, want them to succeed on the idea. Letting ass-hats take over and downing it every turn does nothing but drive people away.
You can be HONEST about the content amount when people ask. And they say they'll Wait" Its not hard to do.
Or they'll take plunge and see how Early Access it is.
Steam does have returns. Not like people can't try it most of day, and then make a choice.
As for Road Map... they said they would update it... didn't. Maybe cause Crucible response wasn't as good as they wanted. Or they wanna refocus on feedback.
.shrugs at this point.
Ask in their Discord or Forums. (they are much more active there)
