More than likely. and even if not, steam input will force the game to have support for it.

I was coming to ask about this, i connected my dualsense which it seemed tos upport when you first launch it since it says best played with a controller and even states dualsense but its all xbox icons :/

Yes please, add PS icons. Never held an xbox controller, and it's pretty annoying to play on ds edge with xbox controller symbols.

I’m having the same issue. It would be nice if Moon studios could give us some info on this. So far my $40 has gotten me a lag fest game and Xbox inputs for my ps5 controller.

No problems here with my PS5 Edge (after updating firmware)
but if you don't own the system to update it you can uses the PS link to update it on windows.

I do love it when a game is on PlayStation consoles, but the dev doesn't see fit to give you the option to use the controller icons on PC...which can use both Xbox and PS5 controllers.... ♥♥♥♥ is so annoying, really makes me not like a game dev....

Both PS4 and PS5 controller works both wireless via bluetooth or with cable. You can connect bluetooth devices in windows settings.
If you have any kind of trouble, a program called "DS4Windows" works very well.
Another option is to disable "Steam input" in steam settings.
But!
The game currently only shows xbox buttons on screen
