"It really depends on how you play, since there are so many meta systems, dense level design to explore, "alive" system for enemy respawn and all other replayability systems. For the first time playthrough for all areas including the Crucible we're seeing 15-25 hours.
Those that further engage with end game, challenges, bounties and the town meta systems can enjoy the same realm for much longer.
And of course we hope folks will also start new realms and characters to try different weapons and builds since our soft class system is shipping with 100 weapons with their unique move sets, rune specials system and all of the other character customization allowing for so much variety and different play styles.
In the past we've been really glad to see how with the short Wicked Inside stretch that we finish it in 30-60 min, the streamers played for good 5-15 hours and had a lot of fun trying different load-outs and exploring the areas for all of of the secrets!
Either way YMMV but we can't wait to see what all of you will do in
@wickedgame
starting tomorrow!"
latest tweet post saying that if you do every area once and do the crucible once without doing any of the replayability like the alive endgame and the daily and weekly challanges, town building, etc. you will be reaching 15-25 hours.
Gotta get it straight from the horse's own mouth...the very same one that's trying to sell you an unfinished game for 40$.
Inflated hour counts by devs is annoying, still cant get over Techland saying for Dying Light 2 that it would take ~500 hours to 100% it.
Only a crackhead would think ~500 hours to 100% a single-player game is normal.
What universe do you live in were u have to pay more money for a game you already own just to get 1.0?
U mean Dying Light 2, Dead Island 2 is made by a different studio and its ~40 hours to 100% (which is actually reasonable).
But yeah it was completely illogical to think Dying Light 2 would legit take 500 hours and if it did it would be a massive waste of time.
dying light 2 was dead me the moment I noticed all the good rpg elements they had been working on ( with avelone? ) got removed.
No prob
I don't know much about the development, just played and finished it when it came out and it wasn't great tbh.
