Worth playing in early access?
I don't usually play early access games but am super interested in this game, is it worth checking out now or waiting?

I love it, but wait, its REALLY short. The only reason people have alot of hours is because tis grindy and full of RNG. Looks amazing, plays amazing, but the actual content is like 3 areas and a city, rush the story and you are done in -10 hours.

IVe gotten a taste for it, but im putting it down now to avoid fatigue, i played Valheim too early and i never went back, this is too good to treat that way, imho.

2 hours refund window will also show you a fair bit tbh, even tho the start is hard and sometimes frustrating.

IT"S REALLY EARLY DAYS.
I am 30 hours in, and I AM ENJOYING IT.

But to advise people, I'd wait a few months still,. as I said it's early, things can be broken update to update at this point still, some things in game don't work properly yet, even if available to use, some are broken, balancing is off depending what weapons/route you take.

Learning it all has been a blast..don't get me wrong, but I would wait a couple months at least for a major update or two.
(Just being enthusiastically honest)

I don't regret my purchase, I've had tons of fun already. 32h so far which is more than a lot of full releases I've played. Looking forward to what comes next.

If you routinely avoid Early Access games, you should not buy them yet. Unless you are buying it as an investment, it is better to wait until you see at least one or two story additions and their update intervals.

I like the game a lot and have high hopes for it, but right now there isn't much content.
If the publisher wasn't a major player, I would have bought it, half resigned to completing it with the quality and quantity maintained.

TLDR: Yes, if you enjoy beautiful artwork, fun combat with a pinch of Souls/Diablo 2 build types -

Is it frustrating and hard at times? Yes.

Is parrying, and combat a lil tricky to get the hang off at first, yes.

Is there funky input delay during busy combat scenarios, yes.

Will you fall to your death from ledges more-so than getting killed by mobs/ mini bosses/ Big-Bosses, yes.

Does the game run the CPU/GPU horribly, even tho some of us (me included,) are using 14700k / 4090, yes.

Despite all of this, if you enjoy a challenge, great art, and fun action, you will actually love this experience IMO - Yes, its a lil short, but once you get 2-5hours in, you will seemingly find yourself spending 20-hours easily.

8/10, even for Early Access.

Up until now it's my (EA) Game Of The Year, personally. That said, story content IS pretty slim right now. You have to keep in mind this game is in very, very, very Early Access right now.

If you're used to games with soulslike combat it'll take you about 10-15 hours to complete all the story bits in the current version, I'd estimate. Add 5-10 hours if you're new to this kind of game (don't worry, it's not that tough).
