Don't think you have to do that tho, just hold on for a patch. I just tried to start a new char on new realm and i have tons of issues there aswell such as swimming under terrain and not being able to climp certain objects cause it's like they don't exist so..just hold of for a hotfix i'd say.
That has nothing to do with the Unity engine, this is a modelling and collider issue. You can import the 3D assets into any engine of your choice, but if the models aren't correctly made and you set up the colliders wrong, it matter f all what engine you're using.
You don't model in Unity. You model in Blender, Maya, 3D Studio, Autocad, hell, whatever you want. Then you set colliders in Unity. But it doesn't matter if it's Unity or whatever. Bad colliders is simply due to sloppy level design and is done correctly/wrong in all engines.
