Get rid of crafting and resource gathering
I'm tired of everything being a survival game with runescape ass tree cutting and mining. I hate it in Monster Hunter, I hate it in Divinity: Original Sin 2, I hate it in Elden Ring and I'll hate it here.

"omg u dont own da game!!!,"
I don't beta test games any more. I'm 32. I have plenty of feature complete favorite games to play while I wait.

I'll buy the game when I'm confident the devs have their footing, know what works, are listening to the community, and will make a good game.

I'm not gambling.

It's a part of the 'innovation' and 'pushing blah blah forward'. They take the worst ideas from other genres, jam it into a souls game and call it innovative.

No go make a new realm and cut down trees for an hour so you can improve something in town after making yet more realms to grind the craftables to make the new thing.

Maybe tomorrow, you can do some combat or something that is not a drag. Wait, gotta grind/craft food first.

No one need to craft food. It drops so insanely much food, you never need to make any, outside of the first couple of hours.
And one hour (if even that) of getting wood is enough to max everything.

Then what's the point of the mechanic? Duh.

And no... spending 1 hour to get wood is still too long. I want to spend 0 seconds cutting wood. Maybe 5 secs at most at a time.

I never said there is a point to the mechanic, so don't "duh" me. Don't put words into my mouth. I'm not happy about resource gathering either.

The exception is food. Because food has wildly different buffs. You can buy basic food if you manage to run out. But buff food need to be crafted. You get the mats for that automatically as you play. However, I wouldn't mind just buying buff food with currency too. I don't like inventory management.

No way, it's a great chill thing to do between bosses and so forth. Great stuff and it also let you notice the world more while chopping down wood or mining. I do wish they made it smoother metling, crafting so forth with combined inventory/storage but i assume that will come in later patch.

Im just so happy the devs arent listening to these majorities, there wont be fast travel everywhere, and they wont get rid of crafting, durability stays.

All confirmed, and good that is. Finally a game that isnt just a bossrush.

Guuuuuuh, I hate manual jumping in non-platformers -.-
Not a deal breaker of course, the game is awesome.
Maybe it'll be optional. Why do you hate it?

I like the fluidity of just keeping running without having to think about precision jumping in my Action RPG. Thank heavens for Auto-Run coming.

If you don't like it then don't play it. Like you said there are enough games out there for you.

Pretty sure like me, they haven't bought it yet. The difference is...I don't understand why someone who has no interest in the game, who doesn't like hafl the game's system would bother coming into the game's discussion on steam to ♥♥♥♥♥ about said game.

I'm here lookiing for people's opinions, descriptions of what's going on in the game, what kind of state its in, etc.

WTF is the OP here for? Who knows. Trolling maybe?

Well, that's fair. That's not how I play this game at all but to each their own. I hope there'll be an optional manual jump at least

If you dislike it, too, why make excuses for it instead of simply agreeing with people who want it changed/removed? /rhetorical

If we agree, I'm glad that's settled.

Because there is very little of it, and the majority likes it. I'm not going to whine about a feature that barely affects me.

talk about a hot-take. :)
based off the 50 responces to ur opinion, i think u just managed to convince the devs that crafting and gathering is overwhelmingly positive.
unlucky LOL
