Guess it depends on your playstyle and how fast you can adapt.
Switching to my heavy shield warrior, I got a hard time going from a fast character with mobility but low strength to a heavy loaded warrior.
After a while, I get used to it and I'm having fun.
With good equipment, I don't even need to parry and backstab anymore, just block and strike or run and hit hard with my 2H axe ! Less pressure also against bosses since I can get hit without dying.
Unless someone has a uber build late game that is, dont know how that would work, full armor with health leech? Is that possible?
Which shield were you using? I assume the larger ones drain less stamina like in Dark Souls.
Damn. There's a lot of mobs overtuned imo. It's also dumb if you can't even tank with tower shields. I remember back in Dark Souls 1 you could tank almost anything. Then DS2 and DS3 nerfed shields big time. It's dumb that in a game like this that's marketing itself as an ARPG that they are discouraging build variety.
