You should see the lance... That is a real fun negative, 100% less damage dealt for 10 secs on damage taken. That unique(being The Wind of Death) imo is one of three that are somewhat decent.

its synergies with the damage increase of the item, so i dont see whats wrong with it, it needs a massive health on kill to work well tho

Unique weapons are weapons with hand picked affixes, not necessarily all positive ones. For this one in particular, it at least synergizes with the increased damage on lower hp passive. You can either mitigate the downside or choose to play into it.

The Proud Lance on the other hand... ouch.

Thats what i thought reading the stats, the longer you slash the more damage you do, as you said with some sort of healing on hit or kill could be really good.
