What, people don't have a right to know things?
Anyways,
Apparently customers are not entitled for information on who made their games.
This is why these people hate free speech. They hate it when this information is uncovered.
9th comment on this video is from thomas mahler

"This person is not affiliated with Moon Studios in any way whatsoever anymore.
We contracted him for a short stint and he was fired for bringing nothing but friction into our team, just FYI."
I think it's safe to assume this game is NOT woke. Nothing in the game seems to promote "the message", I never noticed anything forced or woke about the game.
This said, the linked article is absolute garbage. The writer clearly demonstrates an inability to comprehend simple English phrasing. At the very end of the first paragraph they state:
"As you can see, she contradicts herself noting there are no quotas and then admits there are indeed quotas."What is stated by the article writer is blatantly false and voids the rest of the content.
In addition, thankfully, there are no obvious 'woke'/political/pandering themes in Wicked so far, which is great, and quite refreshing to not have those forced distractions put in a video game. OP, you have failed today. Go away now.
If there are any lessons to be learned from Trevor Phillips of GTA 5, Niko Bellic from GTA 4, John Marston of Red Dead Redemption and Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2, then its the lesson that gamers are more than willing to play as ugly characters if the game is fun enough.
Though I doubt that a casual like you is capable of understanding that.
Yes, I'm calling you a casual.
I'm looking at your profile and it clearly shows that you barely play video games at all. I mean, you've had this profile for 4 years and in all that time, all you did was play 9 games with the game you played the most having just 42 hours under it... That's not a whole lot.
You haven't even played "No Rest for the Wicked" yourself so you don't even know if its any fun to play or not.
At best, you're a casual.
At worst, you're some outsider who barely plays video games at all but wants to tell us gamers how we should feel.
Cant speak for others, but I care.
Too much woke content in games makes the dialogue feel really forced, cringe, unnatural and awkward, like it is the case in:
- TLOU 2
- Saints Row 22
- Forspoken
- Suicide Squad
- Borderlands 3
- Forbidden West
- GOW: Ragnarok
- Hardspace: Shipbreaker
- Subnautica: Below Zero
It also really hurts the flow of the gameplay if they have to interrupt the gameplay every 5 minutes for a 10 minute long cutscene, just because they have written hours up on hours of propaganda they want to insert into the game. In some games like Forbidden West or Borderlands 3 you have literally NPCs constantly running around with you (or nonstop radio calling you) and voice line spamming you every 10 seconds with some nonsense.
Havent seen much woke content in No Rest For The Wicked tho, except the mandatory girl bosses in form of Seline and Odessa and of course the "ugly/weird looking" characters.
The information on who made the game or who was involved in making the game is nowhere near as important as the question: "is the game fun to play?"
In fact, the question:
"Is the game fun to play?"
Is the only question that really matters.
At least to people who play video games to have fun.
"No Rest for the Wicked" is fun to play. End of Story. Nothing else matters.
Of course you never played the game yourself so you wouldn't know.
You're just a random guy who wandered in to try and push your politics and agenda onto us. We didn't want any of that so we roasted you and now you're butthurt because your fragile ego can't handle that.
Why don't you do us all and yourself a big favor and go peddle your snake oil somewhere else?
Ingredients:
1kg good-quality beef mince
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Small handful chopped fresh flatleaf parsley
1 large dill pickle gherkin, finely chopped
1 large free-range egg yolk
To serve:
1 tbsp sunflower oil
200g good melting cheese, such as cheddar, gruyère or taleggio, sliced
8 burger buns
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tsp Dijon mustard
Avocado, tomato and red onion, sliced
Lettuce leaves
Method:
1. Place all the ingredients for the burgers in a large bowl. Season and mix well. Cover and chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
2. Using wet hands, shape the mixture into 8 burgers. If you want to cook them straight away skip to step 4.
3. If you are freezing them; place flat between sheets of baking paper in a rigid freezerproof container. Freeze for up to 3 months. When ready to use, defrost the burgers completely in the fridge; this will take 3-4 hours.
4. Heat a griddle pan or barbecue to hot. Brush both sides of the burgers with oil and cook for 3-4 minutes each side or until well browned and cooked.
5. Meanwhile, preheat the grill to medium hot. Top each burger with a slice of cheese and grill for 2 minutes until bubbling. Toast the burger buns until lightly golden.
6. Mix the mayonnaise with the mustard and spread over the base of each bun. Add some tomato, lettuce and avocado slices, then the burger, red onion slices and the other half of the bun.
7. Serve with a small bowl of ketchup and fries, if you like.
Enjoy your Burger and your LIFE.
Too much hassle. I'll just order delivery. We get free delivery and cheaper prices when doing home delivery in Norway, opposite of most others. Burger King has half price online on some burgers 3 months in a row.
