The dev himself quoted me, regarding that twitch discount. He added to the confusion. That said, 32 bucks is a decent deal. Maybe not the 27 openers like Palworld or Enshrouded, but all in all not bad.

Does the game warrant that 5 dollar premium? Or did Palworld undersell themselves? Only we as consumers can judge.

if anyone is up in arms over $5, i think that particular person might have some bigger issues to deal with

It's my five bucks. I can vote with my wallet and not spend any money. I have money to spend as I try not to waste it anymore. I have my share of nude bar recpts. Bigger issues abound, for many.
