i see, thank you, i will reserve my wait for reviews and see what people say, i do have high hopes because you as a dev know what your doing, so i am not worried, just wondering if its better to experience later on or now ;) thanks for answering mikey!
i mean its gonna be 20 hours and multiple playthroughs and eventually more than 20 hours, and thats cheap since games like spiderman or other games last around 7-12 hours for 70 dollars
The devs never said that here?
Example: in August they release the complete act 2 (or something like that).
If so, it would be very interesting to play before 1.0, like a seasons format, for example.
Me too, but I like to take my time and poke around a lot. 😉 probably could have phrased that better......
I think someone just made it up. If you play straight through one time, it's probably less than that. As we all know, these types of games can offer many more hours if you keep searching for loot and running whatever end-game there is to start, plus different play styles. I'm easily going to spend 60 hours on Act 1. Definitely worth it to me.
Your critcism is absolutely senseless. You know exactly, that its an EA and wont have the full playtime the game will have in future. If you buy it nonetheless and cry later on, you are the only one, who made a mistake.
If you want to try it out, buy it. If you want a full game, w8 until 1.0.
6 years in development just for an Act 1? Say whaaaat?
Maybe do some reading and research before posting? Act 1 is what we are getting to start. They have a development plan and have multiple additions that will be released. Those additions are not ready right now, but they are working on them. So, it's not going to be to long before we get more content.
See this is what I don't understand, is comments like this. Where is the math cynicism coming from??? You do realize that Elden Ring was $60 and the ENTIRE MAIN STORY LINE could be finished in 40 hours. Even games that were considered huge like The Witcher 3 had a main story line of about 40-50 hours. Dark Souls III had a main story line of 32 hours. That game game came out 8 years ago and it's still at full price, $59.99.
I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say.
So you'll pay $60 for a 40-hour main story line of a AAA game but not $40 for early access of 20 hours for an indie game?
Doesn't compute.
