I ask because this feels like it's being marketed almost as a full release, and there is not a significant price difference imho. If 80%+ of the game is there I am on board but perhaps will wait if less.
If you look at the Game Informer article here:
https://gameinformer.mydigitalpublication.com/publication/?m=10122&i=816700&p=48&ver=html5
Pages 46-47
Read these pages and it’ll give you plenty of details of what they are going to release April 18th. Can’t wait!
I'm hyped for the game and all the ideas, and $40 feels like a very fair retail price, but just feel negatively about this announcement.
But early access ☹️☹️☹️
Will wait it out hoping it's a success.
It's not the most expensive early access title ever. The ones I can think of that had fairly high early access prices, like Baldur's Gate 3 and Last Epoch, were very successful, so for a game of the quality of what they're offering, seems ok.
