Moon is working on it! Respec will come at a great cost and weapons can be used by anyone but at a disadvantage if you are not meeting the requirements.
It is possible to respec with cheats if you really want, it saves your new allocated stats as long as you havent added more points than actually received by level 30 (87 points)
Also oh my god why doesn't the game lock when I shift tab what the actual ♥♥♥♥
I have several characters that specialize in certain fighting styles and it makes tem unique. Otherwise one character slot would suffice
Truuuue.
A weapon without the matching stat points wont do much damage anyway, but at least you can try it out and see if it fits your playstyle.
Even letting us try out the movesets of the weapons with a -90% damage debuff if not meeting the requirements would be cool
I'd not have gone the quality build route if I knew how janky the weapon class is to use, now I have dead 6 str points spent lol
Thats something they are looking into from twitter, don't have twitter myself but rumors.
Why is Twitter being used as a developer diary platform lmao
Don't ask me iam old, but it seems the kewl kids use it.
yep, that problem starts very early in the game, when the first weapons you find require 11 stat points instead of 10, so you put one point into strenght to use a blue mace you found even though you might not use any strenght weapons later, you just wasted one stat point for ever.
No, no, no, if they remove this they remove a lot of the same mechanics DS uses for progression, weapons become more powerful as your stats go up, although someone said in another thread the devs messed it up here, Dark Souls has more of a bell curve to progression of stats, dont ask, i cant explain, but the guy did make a lot of sense in his explanation. Something about that soft cap and hard cap crap i never understood.
