I had similar experience there, with one of the firecaster witches. i was using a claymore at that time, charging up my attack as the thing teleports away, making my character turn to the left in the direction of the mob, causing my character to attack off the ledge and die xD
I hear ya. I have died in that spot as well and quickly learned that it can be best to kite them down the ramp and fight in a safer area. Good luck:D
This guy in certanly meant to be fought at a higher level, maybe 50 should do it, well at least for us mere mortals.
Have you tried using Blink with the Echo Knight? It made a huge difference for my squishy mage and the resulting Echo Knight kills gave me the time to learn it's moves better. Rather then dying in the first minute;-)
I don't like plague rings on slow weapons but if you stack them than maybe that could work. I have over 1k armor on one of my builds and the Echo Knight can still hurt me a lot. Sooo good luck!

so yes, it needs alot of work because the crucible is not done yet
I legitimately cannot believe they put crucible out without a check point once you reach echo knight. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what an awful decision.
Agreed, but someone said in another thread that the crucible is only here to test things in EA, they are not doing this in the full release, at least i hope not.
Yeah, I understand it was released as an early access. But even the devs had to have even the smallest amount of forethought to go "maybe the gauntlet with no checkpoint for a new boss that is a quarter size of the stage it's on, also locking story progression until you beat it, is a bad idea for fun."
Mind you, this is unironically one of my personal favorite games of all time. Love everything about it and the mechanics; I legit even love grinding the same areas for new gear and materials. I can't wait to see the full game. But this right here killed all the momentum and I just can't bring myself to play it. I'm also just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about this one thing, I really have no other bad things to say.
I know it will be "fixed", but I'm tentative on whatever else they think will be OK in the full release.
