No Rest for the Wicked

No Rest for the Wicked

Does the inn work?
I built Caroline's Inn, and according to the game, sleeping (logging out) in a bed for longer than 4 hours is supposed to either provide you with buffs, heal you, or both.

I logged out last night around 12 and loaded the game up about an hour ago. My character is still vitally injured, and I don't see any buffs applied.

Has anyone else had success?

Negative. Tried it last night and no buff or anything. Not even a heal. :steamfacepalm:

I never paid attention to whether I've gotten a heal but I've gotten a buff with heart icon a couple times after logging back in.

Level 2 inn is just giving You a small temporary buff, which You can see (as far as I recall it is a ~heart icon on a timer) top left part of the screen after "waking up" Your character.

Some things are not implemented yet, like the recipes for runes in the enchantment vendor, the table is there but nothing to do with it. Im hoping those trapdoors around the world will eventually lead somewhere too, they do not seen to be a part of the scenary.
Same thing with some ladders and bridges that are now impossible to lower, gates closed and all that.
You can try to test the bed buff by advancing your PC clock, works for the saturday vendor, Finley.

Yeah, the inn does seem kinda meh. It's also funny you need to build the inn to rest, but the rookery has tons of beds and your community chest is right there. Why wouldn't I just sleep there lols.
