Right now you gotta Alt before you finish the last mission if you don't want to deal with that.
The whole point of doing an alt character was so I could equip the legendary items I saved in the community chest with the purpose of giving it to my ALT.
The game in its current state doesn't have a RESPEC option so making a new build this way sounded good on paper.
I have ended up starting a new character on a new realm but it does suck that I wasted all that time farming good drops for an alt.
Yes, the game doesn't currently have a respec option (which they're working on btw), which is WHY when people make new chars on their current realm, they use the XP pots. You didn't want to make it easier for yourself and do that and now you're complaining that it's hard without it lol. I just deleted all my saves with my fully levelled characters and realms to start the game over completely fresh and I'm enjoying it. You've seen what weapons you had before so you can start planning which stats you will be levelling on a new character.
Also, even on your levelled up realm, its not impossible to level up especially since the first legendary 2h only needs 11 str. You can easily upgrade your gear even at lvl 1 since you should have the mats and level up pretty fast if you're careful
I don't understand the complaint here. A new character on the same realm can be at the community stash within a minute of hitting start.
Getting to Sanctuary is not an issue. I never said it was.
I literally just tested this out again. Game is open on 2nd monitor as I write this.
Made new character -> went to sancrament to get basic items I can equip at lvl 1 (stuff in my community chest requires at least lvl 11) -> go back down to beach and fight the monster dogs and witches and they all 2-3 shot me while I have to hit them upwards to 20 times.
Its the same with enemies at Orban Glades, Mariners Keep and Nameless Pass.
HOW IS THAT NOT TEDIOUS!?
As EA advances there might be changes that break old saves or there might be total wipe, it's not confirmed, but if it does happen our current playtime contributes to experience and skill, so using glitches to advance or gain advantage/knowledge is the best thing you could do atm
If you want to stay genuine and go trough content you dislike, like grinding a new character to check other weapons and eventually figure out best build for you, you are shooting yourself in the foot.
This guy is in the cave north of the whisper at Orban Glades.
ALL the enemies are just as tanky and strong as this dude.
THIS RIGHT HERE!
Realm hopping seems to be the only real solution outside of exploits. It is what it is.
I fully admit that this idea didnt cross my mind even though it was right there in my face.
Thank you Crylz.
If you've killed the 2nd boss, then all the enemies in the entire realm are going to be between 21 and 30 (if not 26-35 or something like that).
So you're creating a new character, putting on level 1-10 gear, and then complaining that enemies at LEAST twice your level are killing you easily...
Well, duh...
Have you played games before?
You can put your gear in the community stash, either get it from that realm then go to a new realm, or just start a new realm and grab the gear when you get to Sacrament. Don't be dumb and try to fight level 20+ enemies at level 1.
