Enjoyed my time with the game very much up till that point.
The last bit is just so tedious it makes me want to put the game down.
After a certain amount of time doing the same thing over and over is just not fun at all.
He has way too much health, he has horrible hit-box that is very unpredictable and the fight can be very obnoxious due to how often the boss can chain certain abilities. Cherry on top of this ♥♥♥♥-cake is the fact it is a two-phase fight.
Sure, you can abuse some builds or focus skills that are clearly broken in EA now but fighting him with a slow 2handed weapon is not fun.
I just beat him with a slow 2h Axe. It was a lot of fun. I would switch between it and a sword shield combo to build up Focus, then go to the axe for some big hits and the weapon art. Or rune skill, whatever it's called. Lightning Strike I think.
