opinion: this game would be better with Diablo 4 type graphics

I like the meaty substantive combat of this game, but the goofy graphics are not immersive to me

the graphics and design don't make me feel like a badass hero, instead it makes me feel like a deformed goon

the devs should incorporate the more realistic badass graphics and design of Diablo 4

discuss.

The characters without armor do look goofy/bad, but you only seem them for like 5 secs while creating your char and then never again as your guy is so small and has armor and weapons that it becomes a non-issue when actually playing the game.

I don't mind the art style of this game (or Diablo 3), but Diablo 4 definitely runs a lot better on my PC than this game so for that reason alone I might agree with you.

I love the way this game looks, why would you want more games to look exactly like other games. If you love d4 so much just play that.

because I actually like the gameplay of this game...the combat is more substantive

I'm not a fan of No Rest's human proportions(Popeye forearms??) but I absolutely love the art otherwise. It has an immense amount of personality. Diablo 3 & 4 are also great looking. I'm a bigger fan of the Soulslike ARPG than the Diablo style ARPG. It'd be awesome if No Rest is a huge hit and devs start making No Restlikes. Maybe Blizzard can do a Diablo spinoff that swaps Diablo's classic clickfest combat to something more animation prioritized like Souls. Apparently Blizzard tried and failed at just that several years ago...
