because in weapon description it does say -> Scale with : _ _
2 items could scale with strenght, but one gets a higher bonus. You don't know unless you equip them and go to the level up screen where it tells you the exact bonus. Would also like to know about ones scaling with 2 stats.
Currently, there is very little, if any, difference between Claymore with 10 STR requirement and The Sieger with 42 STR requirement as long as you upgrade both weapons to max. There will be a difference due to variability of base weapon damage but ultimately both weapons will be very close to each other. I know this from personal experience since I clear everything but Echo Knight with Claymore, which currently has 54 damage per swing at max tier 3. I also have The Sieger upgraded to max tier 3 that has 52 damage per swing.
Scaling is very linear in the game at this point and it does not make much difference for different weapons. This is not Dark Souls where you have various scaling ratio such as A+, B, C or D that dictates how those stats are translated into damage.
