Cerim Crucible sucks SO MUCH...
I don't get why they did it like this,
20 minute run to reach the boss, more than 50% of the "zones" have drop pits, by the time i reach the boss i already forgot all it's moves, it's like doing a boss run in any other souls like, but here you have to jump and wait, and kill the same 2 mobs, and jump and jump, 5th area, "oh you fell because the 7th teleporting immune to stagger wyzard gave you a nudge?" and here we go again, another 20 minutes just to see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss.

And guess what? The boss arena too is surrounded by a death fall... ffs how insecure of your own combat system you have to be to start copying Dark Souls 2 joke boss to feel smart?

At this point is just getting frustrating, why do i have to beat the clock tower of supermario 64 + all the bs of those stupid wizards just to get to the good part?
The platform aspect is fun ONCE, after that i just want to play the game...

i mean if u are unsecure about your build or stat alocations you can watch the people that can make a build and use it, that boss or mobs dosent have too much mechanics

Blame it on the environment instead of how dumb you play? Play smarter maybe? Outsmart the boss/ enemies rolling inward not outward on attacks? Use the cliffs at your advantage and knocked enemies off and if you lucky get a boss stuck Jesus be creative.

At this point i lost all my interest in the game the final boss need to have checkpoint on him and not start all over again and people can only cheese this boss cuz he is broken af.
One of the biggest problem about this game imo is what you said that most areas you can just fall and all the fighting happens in tight areas including the boss lol every location in this game i feels like im waling on eggs just not to make a little mistake and fall to my death and unfortunately i think the entire game is build like this.

roll towards the enemy? but when 5 enemies are aproaching you at once and 3 of them are nut witches which nuke you how do you roll towards all 5 of them when 2 of them are in your back and the timming of the attacks make it so all attack at once ...yeah you can make them friendly fire each other but still ... some of the combat mechanics are dumbed out

.... Get creative. Ice frost runes cold damage gems --- use ice throw twice pack is dead or frozen in place nearly dead and one swipe done move on. Experiment ffs.

I think there are some legit criticisms for the crucible. Like the randomised enemy numbers where for one particular level sometimes they may spawn 3 enemies but other times it could be as many as 6.

Putting a mage or a 2 handed weapon knight on a very narrow ledge where if you roll off you'll die to fall damage and in general enemy placements where you just cannot avoid damage. In the story and you can decide how to approach things because you get the space to do that but not here.

Also because you spend so much time running through these levels that when you do get to the boss it's a heavy hitter and you can die very fast so you're not exactly spending a lot of time learning the patterns before you gotta do the whole run again.

You're gonna learn faster dying to the same boss over and over instead of just dying and spending 20 minutes to try again.

I got sick of doing the runs so I just save scummed at the boss and fought it until I learned the patterns.

Add the fcking mage with 9999 stagger bar. That witch buffed herself up that she just won't stop casting fire.

Guys, i don't have problems reaching the boss, some times i get pushed down a cliff, it happens.
The problem is REACHING the boss, too many areas, i don't want to one shot the boss with a broken build, i want to learn it.
I don't have the patience or the will to waste 20 min every time i want to fight it.
Give me a 5 min horde survival against 80 knights and let me fight the boss, enough with this jump left and right, and little teleporty mage on a bridge trolling you.

Yeha i'm starting to see it too, the first time is ok, but doing it over and over, especially for the daily stuff.
I lost count of how many hours i wasted looking for a mob climbing left and right.
The map and the crucible zones are not built to be replayed.
It feels like a 3 min Uncharted gameplay every 1 min of souls gameplay ufffff....

Give us a damn checkpoint when we reach the boss that'll require an item to access or something once we reach it.

Oh yeah, another complaint about the Echo Knight: bastard can hit you so hard and fast it knocks you OUT of the arena if you're at the entrance and RESET ALL THE DAMAGE YOU DID TO HIM. Which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

After beating each of the rooms at least once, the gates should stay open so you can run past all enemies if you choose to. I quit earlier after falling to my death 4 times in the last room

Man… I’m in a bad place with echo knight.

I’m his second phase he has this one attack that’s like a 3x ground slam, except it hits the entire arena. It does huge damage and I just can’t seem to dodge roll it.

I’ve gotten him to like 30% 10x which is when he seems to do this attack and it just gets me every time. Getting frustrated. I can get to him super fast too but just can’t get the kill and it’s driving me nuts

You can also block it if you have a shield to reduce the damage.

I agreed with you, I think check point before boss room with using 1 fallen ember each try should be great.
